I was out with OppamanZ and Rejean and it got late and I didn't have time to pass by the hotel. Nice meeting all you guys and I will E-Mail you for the parts we talked about. : few cool stories from the convention I forgot to mention before: : When the group of us arrived late Tuesday, Steve (honzrr) decides to enter the car show, which is the next morning. Well I hadn't planned on it, but I couldn't let him go it alone so I entered too. We just drove 5 hours or so, and got caught in the rain on the way up, so the cars were filthy. We start detailing at midnight but there is no hose available. We work until 2am or so, then get up at 6am and continue on. The cars were wet in the morning so I used that and instant detailer to clean my car (as did Steve), that's it! No wash, no wax, no nothing! Pretty admirable we got them as clean as we did. And Steve had just picked the car up at the bodyshop so the engine bay was covered in paint dust LOL. : On the track I got black flagged in the 3rd session. I come into the pits and the marshal says, your license plate flew off, I think it's around turn 7 somewhere. WTF. Then he says, is this car heavily modified? I said no not really. He says, well you're shooting flames out the tailpipes. No shit! John (NA thinks its a TT) confirmed it, but no one could get a picture. Cool! : Anyway, props to all the guys that showed up. Once again, TTpete's, ZRO's, and Avalon's cars were absolutely phenomenal!
